  1. 1/4 ts Salt

  2. 2 Egg whites

  3. 1/4 c Sugar

  4. 3/4 c Corn syrup, clear

  1. Beat salt and egg whites with electric mixer until soft peaks form.

  2. Gradually add sugar, about 1 tablespoon at a time, beating until smooth and glossy.

  3. Continue beating and add corn syrup, a little at a time, beating after each addition until frosting peaks.

  4. Makes enough to frost 9" layer cake.
