  5. 240 g Black glutinous rice

  6. 60 g White glutinous rice (pulut)

  7. (washed & drained)

  8. 7 c Water

  9. 2 Pandan leaves, knotted

  10. 1/2 c Sugar

  11. 1/2 T Tapioca flour or cornflour

  12. Combined with 2 Tbs water to

  13. Form a paste

  14. 1/2 c Thick cocnut milk

  15. Pinch of salt

  16. Preparation: 15 minutes

  17. Cooking: 1 hour

  18. Put rice in pot with water and pandan leaves and bring to a boil. Reduce

  19. heat to low, remove pandan leaves and simmer for 45 minutes until liquid

  20. is thick. Add sugar and simmer for 10 minutes. Add salt and thickening.

  21. Remove from heat.

  22. Serve in small bowls topped with 1-2 tablespoons thick cocnut milk.
