  1. 1 pound fresh or frozen medium shrimp in shells

  2. 1/4 cup butter or margarine

  3. 2 to 3 tsp garlic powder

  4. 8 ounces dried fettuccine

  5. 1/2 cup whipping cream

  6. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  7. 4 ounces Monterey Jack cheese with jalapeno chile peppers, shredded (1 cup)

  8. 2 tbsp snipped fresh parsley

  1. Method : Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 2-quart casserole; set aside. Thaw shrimp, if frozen. Peel and devein shrimp. Rinse shrimp; pat dry with paper towels. In a large skillet heat butter over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and garlic powder. Cook, stirring frequently, for 1 to 3 minutes or until shrimp are opaque. Set aside. Cook fettuccine according to package directions; drain. Return fettuccine to hot pan; add whipping cream and parmesan cheese. Toss over medium heat until cheese has melted. Remove from heat. Add shrimp mixture; toss to combine. Spoon shrimp-pasta mixture into prepared casserole. Sprinkle with Monterey Jack cheese and pasley. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until heated through and cheese on top is melted.
