  2. 3 cups milk

  3. 2 Tablespoons sugar

  4. 3/4 teaspoons salt

  5. 1 Tablespoon vanilla

  6. 2 Tablespoons butter ,

  7. cut in small pieces

  1. Butter a 9x13 inch dish. Arrange bread slices in single layer over bottom of dish. Beat eggs, milk, sugar, salt and vanilla in large bowl until mixed. Pour over bread. Cover with foil. Refrigerate overnight.

  2. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Uncover dish, dot with butter pieces. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes until bread is puffy & lightly brown.

  3. Serve with syrup, honey, fruit or confect. sugar.
