  1. 1 lb Ground Beef

  2. 4 1/2 oz Corned Beef Spread;

  3. 1 cn, OR 4 1/2 oz Deviled Ham;

  4. 1/4 c Onion; Finely Chopped,

  5. 1 sm.

  6. 1/4 ts Salt

  7. 1/8 ts Garlic Salt

  8. 1/8 ts Pepper

  9. 8 oz Sauerkraut; Drained,

  10. 1 cn

  11. 5 Swiss Cheese Slices;

  1. * Each cheese slice should be 3 inches by 3 inches.

  2. Mix all the ingredients together except the sauerkraut and cheese.

  3. Shape mixture into 5 patties, each about 3/4-inch thick.

  4. Set oven control to broil or 550 degrees F.

  5. Broil the patties 4 inches from the heat, turning once, to the desired doneness, about 10 to 15 minutes.

  6. Top each patty with sauerkraut and a cheese slice.

  7. Broil until the cheese is melted and a light brown in color.

  8. Nice served on toasted rye or pumpernickel buns or bread.
