  1. Bishop's Bread

  2. 1 1/2 cups flour

  3. 1 1/2 tsp baking powder

  4. 1/4 tps salt

  5. 2/3 cup chocolate chips

  6. 2 cups chopped walnuts

  7. 1 cup snipped pitted dates

  8. 1 cup halved candied cherries

  9. 3 eggs

  10. 1 cup sugar

  11. 325F. Grease a

  12. 9x5 loaf pan and line with heavy

  13. wax paper.

  14. Into bowl, sift flour, baking powder, salt; stir in chips, nuts,

  15. and fruits.

  16. in large bowl, beat eggs, and then beat in sugar.

  17. Fold flour mixture into egg mixture. Pour into loaf pan.

  18. 1 1/2 to 2 hours (or until done). Cool pan on wire rack. When

  19. cool remove from pan, wrap in foil, store. Serve sliced next day.

  20. Makes 1 loaf.
