  1. 1 lb 454g / 16oz Ditallini pasta - (salad macaroni)

  2. 1/4 cup 59ml Olive oil

  3. 1 Garlic - minced

  4. 2 Green peppers - chopped (large)

  5. 1 cup 62g / 2 1/5oz Onions - chopped

  6. 1 cup 110g / 3.9oz Celery - chopped

  7. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt -

  8. 1 teaspoon 5ml Black pepper Sprinkle of parsley

  9. 1 Tomato puree

  10. 1 Water - use puree can

  11. 2 Cannelini beans -

  1. Recipe Instructions Cook pasta according to package directions. While pasta is cooking, heat oil in a large saucepan. Add garlic, green pepper, onion and celery. Sauteeuntil soft or tender. Add puree with 1 can water, then add seasoning. Cook on low for 1/2 hour. Add beans and stir. Drain pasta in a colander and add bean mixture. Toss well.
