  1. 1 1/2 cups 355ml Pecans

  2. 3 tablespoons 45ml Sugar

  3. 3 tablespoons 45ml Soft butter or margarine

  4. 1/3 cup 78ml Matzoth cake meal

  1. Preheat oven to 400F. Grease a 9-in. pie pan. Insert metal blade.

  2. Place pecans in work bowl of food processor and process until fine; with 3 or 4 pulses. Add remaining ingredients and process until well blended; about 15 to 20 seconds.

  3. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until light gold in color.

  4. Cool completely before filling.

  5. Note: When recipe calls for an unbaked pie shell, fill before baking.
