  8. 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  9. 1 teaspoon baking soda

  10. 1 teaspoon salt

  11. 1 3/4 cups sugar

  12. 1/2 cup unsalted butter -- (1 stick) room

  18. 2 cups grated unpeeled zucchini

  26. into medium bowl. Beat sugar, butter and oil in large bowl

  27. until well blended. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well

  28. after each addition. Beat in vanilla extract. Mix in dry

  29. ingredients alternately with buttermilk in 3 additions

  30. each. Mix in grated zucchini. Pour batter into prepared

  31. pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over.

  32. Bake cake until tester inserted into center comes out clean,

  33. about 50 minutes. Cool cake completely in pan.
