  1. 2 c. sugar

  2. 2 tbsp. cornstarch

  3. 2 c. boiling water

  4. 1 lg. pkg. strawberry Jello

  5. 2 frozen pie shells (shallow)

  6. 3 to 4 c. sliced fresh strawberries

  1. Cook unfilled pie shells and set aside to cool. Clean strawberries and cut into slices. Fill pie shells with strawberries. Combine sugar, starch, and water in medium size pot and cook at slow boil until the mixture turns clear. Remove from heat and add strawberry Jello. Pour Jello mixture over strawberries. Put pies in the refrigerator until congealed (approximately 3 hours).
