  1. 1 large bunch of fresh kale washed,stemmed,torn into pieces OR 2 boxes frozen kale

  2. 1 lb chorizo sliced into thin circles

  3. 1 lb linguica sliced into thin circles

  4. 5-6 cloves garlic ,minced

  5. 1 large onion chopped

  6. 2 cans red kidney beans ,drained

  7. 1 can white cannelli beans ,drained

  8. 3 large russett potatoes diced

  9. 5 quarts chicken stock

  10. 1/4 crushed red pepper or to taste

  11. 3 tbs olive oil

  12. salt & pepper to taste

  1. in a large stock pot,heat olive oil saute onion and garlic till soft

  2. add linguica & chorizo cook 10 min or till renders ( juice is good adds flavor!!)

  3. add chicken stock and redpepper flakes bring to a boil

  4. add kale , boil till done about 15 minutes ( will turn dark green)

  5. add potatoes boil on medium heat till tender about 15 min

  6. add kidney and cannelli beans simmer till beans are heated through

  7. 3-4 minutes

  8. serve with a good crusty bread even better the next day!!!
