  5. 2 Eggs

  6. 1 3/4 c Flour

  7. 2 ts Baking Powder

  8. 1/2 ts Salt

  9. 1/2 c Milk

  11. 1 c Powdered Sugar

  12. 1 1/2 tb Milk

  13. 2 Green Food Coloring Drops

  14. Slivered Almonds, sliced

  15. --CAKE --

  1. ** The Cake ** In a bowl cream the butter and sugar.

  2. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

  3. Blend in vanilla.

  4. Combine the dry ingredients and add alternately with the milk, beating until smooth.

  5. Spread in a greased 9-inch square pan.

  6. Bake in a preheated 350oF oven for 40 minutes or until test done.

  7. ** The Glaze ** Combine the sugar and liquid, beating until smooth anf fairly thin, add coloring and spread on the warm cake.

  8. Sprinkle with almonds.
