  1. Crockpot sweet and sour meatballs

  2. 2 pounds lean ground beef or lean ground turkey (I like using the turkey in the spring)

  3. 1 tsp minced garlic

  4. 2 tsp garlic herb seasoning

  5. 2 cups chicken broth or stock

  6. 2 cans (16 ounces) tomato sauce

  7. 1 bottle of chili sauce

  8. 1/2 cup brown sugar

  9. 1/2 cup cider or regular vinger

  10. 1 egg slightly beaten

  11. 1/4 cup bread crumbs

  12. Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Mix meat, egg , seasoing, garlic, and bread crumbs until moist. In a bowl, mix tomato sauces, chicken broth, brown sugar, vinger, and chili. Make meatballs into walnut sized shapes and place in crockpot. It is okay if they are sticking together or are on top of each other. Pour the sauce on top of the meatballs. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or 3-4 hours on high. Serve with rice or mashed potatoes. Yield: serves 8 Notes: I only use half of the sauce. I put the rest of the sauce in a jar and use it on meatloaf.
