  1. 100g (4oz) plain flour

  2. 1 egg

  3. 300ml ( 1/2 pint) milk 150ml ( 1/4 pint) orange juice

  4. 3 tbs orange marmalade

  5. 1 tbs Cointreau or orange liqueur

  6. 2 tsp cornflour

  7. pinch ground ginger 150ml ( 1/4 pint) double cream

  8. 4 tbs chocolate and hazelnut spread

  9. pinch ground cinnamon

  1. In a large bowl mix together the flour, egg and milk and beat well until smooth.

  2. Heat a little oil in a frying pan and pour about 2-3 tablespoons of the mixture into the pan. Tilt and move the pan until the mixture covers the base evenly. Cook on a medium heat for 30-60 seconds until golden. Flip the pancake and cook on the other side Orange sauce : Heat all the ingredients in a small saucepan, bring to the boil, stirring continuously until thickened.

  3. Chocolate sauce : Heat all the ingredients in a small saucepan, stirring continuously until warm and thickened.

  4. Drizzle the pancakes with either one or both of the sauces and serve.
