  1. 1 tablespoon cold pressed virgin olive oil

  2. 4 garlic cloves, minced

  3. 1 onion, chopped

  4. 2 cans diced tomatoes and juice

  5. 2 dessertspoons tomato paste

  6. salt and pepper to taste

  7. 2 teaspoons dried basil

  8. 1 425g can tuna in spring water

  9. 500g penne pasta

  10. 2 minutes,then add garlic and saute until onions are soft. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, pepper and basil and stir together. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring now and again to prevent sticking. Add water if too dry. Add flaked tuna to sauce and cook for about 5 minutes on medium heat. Cook penne until al dente and pour the sauce over the cooked pasta. Mix together and serve.
