Fabulous Apple Pie

1 cup flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/3 cup butter , chilled

3 Tablespoons sour cream

20 minutes before rolling the dough. Place rolled dough in a buttered pie plate. Crimp edge. Bake slightly at

425 degrees to insure the crust will not be soggy.

FILLING:

6 tart apple s

1 cup sugar

2 Tablespoons flour

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon freshly grated lemon

peel

teaspoon ground clove s

Combine ingredients and spread in the slightly baked pie shell

TOPPING:

1/2 cup flour

1/4 sugar

teaspoon salt

1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

1/4 cup butter , melted

400 degrees for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
