  4. 1 c Potatoes; mashed

  5. 1 c Lard

  6. 1 c Sugar

  7. 1 tb Salt

  8. 1 qt Potato water

  9. 2 ea Eggs; beaten

  10. 1 ea Yeast cake Scald lard and sugar with water, cool and add

  11. 2 beaten eggs,

  12. 1 cake yeast dissolved in lukewarm water. Add enough flour to make a stiff dough. Let rise
