  1. 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

  2. 2 medium onions or 250 g, chopped

  3. 1 whole chicken, cut into 8 pieces

  4. 250 g okra, large, trimmed and cut into halves

  5. 3 medium tomatoes or 450 g, peeled and chopped

  6. 2 tablespoons tomato paste

  7. 4 tablespoons adeny chili mixture, (Adeny besbas)

  8. 6 cups water or 1500 ml

  9. 2 small green chili peppers, chopped

  10. 2 cubes MAGGI® Chicken Bouillon

  11. 2 large potatoes or 600 g, cut into large cubes

  12. 1 cup coriander leaves or 75 g, chopped

  1. Heat oil in a large pot, add and cook onions for 3 minutes or until they become tender. Add chicken pieces, stir and cook for 5 minutes.

  2. Add the fresh okra, stir for another 3 minutes then add tomatoes, tomato paste, adeny chili mixture, water, green chilies and MAGGI® Chicken Bouillon cubes.

  3. Bring to boil, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.

  4. Add potatoes and coriander, simmer for another 15-20 minutes or until potato and chicken are tender.
