  1. 2 lbs southern style hash brown potatoes

  2. 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  3. 1 cup sour cream

  4. 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup

  5. 2 tablespoons chopped onions (dried, or minced work well too)

  6. 1/2 cup melted butter or 1/2 cup margarine

  1. mix potatoes, sour cream, cheese, soup, onion, and butter together.

  2. put in a 9 x 13 in pan.

  3. bake at 350 for 1 hr or slightly less.
