  1. 4 cups apple cider

  2. 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

  3. 4 sticks cinnamon

  4. 6 whole cloves

  5. 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg

  1. Combine cider, lemon juice and cinnamon sticks in a medium saucepan. Heat to just a simmer-don't boil. Add cloves and simmer 10 minutes. Strain cider mixture. Stir in nutmeg. Serve hot in cups or mugs.
