  1. Double Macaroni and Cheese

  2. 4 servings 8 oz elbow macaroni, cooked

  3. 1 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

  4. 1 pkg (12 oz) creamed cottage cheese

  5. 1/4 cup flour

  6. 1/4 cup butter of margarine

  7. 2 cup milk

  8. 1/2 tsp salt

  9. 1/8 tsp white pepper

  10. Alternate layers of macaroni, cheddar, and cottage cheese in a

  11. greased 2-quart baking dish; beginning with macaroni and ending

  12. with cheddar. Melt 1/4 cup butter; stir in flour to make a smooth

  13. mixture. Blend in milk gradually. Heat to boiling; stirring

  14. constantly. Cook until thickened about 2 mins. Add salt and pepper. Pour over macaroni and cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
