  1. 1 onion, diced

  2. 200ml beef stock

  3. 1 1/2kg pork fillet, sliced

  4. For the barbecue sauce:

  5. 700g ketchup

  6. 1 tablespoon Worcester sauce

  7. 1 teaspoon tabasco or chilli sauce

  8. 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar

  9. 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

  10. 1 teaspoon white vinegar

  11. 1 teaspoon ground pepper

  1. Add the onion, stock and sliced pork fillet to a slow cooker and cook for 9 hours on low.

  2. To make the barbecue sauce: Place all the ingredients for the sauce in a saucepan. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes.

  3. Transfer the pork and onions to a serving plate and pour over the barbecue sauce.
