  1. 2 tablespoons oil

  2. 3 cloves garlic, crushed

  3. 1 red onion, chopped

  4. 500g minced beef

  5. 4 Scotch bonnet chillies, chopped

  6. 1 tablespoon paprika

  7. 1 tablespoons oregano

  8. 3 tablespoon cayenne chilli powder

  9. 2 tablespoons cumin

  10. 3 tablespoons tomato puree

  11. 1 (400g) tin chopped tomatoes

  12. 2 tablespoons 1 Worcestershire sauce

  13. 1 beef stock cube

  14. 1 (400g) tin red kidney beans

  1. Heat a pan with oil. Fry your onion and garlic until softened. Add your mince and cook until browned.

  2. Mix in your fresh chillies, paprika, oregano, cayenne, cumin, tomato purée, tinned tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce.

  3. Once mixed crumble your stock cube over it all and mix again and leave to simmer for 1 hour.

  4. After the hour is up, add your kidney beans and leave for another ten minutes.
