  1. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

  2. 450g venison stewing meat, diced

  3. 1 green pepper, seeded and sliced into strips

  4. 1 red pepper, seeded and sliced into strips

  5. 1 small onion, chopped

  6. 1 2/3 (120g) packets beef flavoured savoury rice, such as Batchelors

  1. Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the venison chunks and cook until nicely browned on the outside and almost cooked through.

  2. Prepare the beef flavoured rice mix according to package instructions. While the rice is cooking, add the venison, green pepper, red pepper and onion. Simmer until rice is done and peppers are tender.
