  1. 2 cup(s) Instant Rice (prepared)

  2. 1 can(s) Cream of Mushroom soup (do not dilute)

  3. 1 can(s) Cream of Chicken Soup ( Do Not dilute)

  4. 1 pound(s) Sausage (cooked and cut up in pieces, drained of the grease, may use more if you like)

  5. Cheddar Cheese to cover top of casserole

  6. Optional: Green Bell Pepper ( cut to make circles, remove seeds) place on top of cheese after removing from oven

  7. Sliced Almonds (enough to sprinkle over top of casserole after removed from oven)

  1. Prepare sausage as directed and drain, set aside.

  2. Prepare rice as directed on package.

  3. Pour sausage into rice, both soups (Do Not Dilute), mix well. Place ingredients in casserole dish, cover top of casserole with cheese, place in oven, 350 degrees, for about 15 minutes or until heated through and cheese has melted. (This casserole may also be heated up in Microwave oven).

  4. Remove from oven, if using, place bell pepper rings over top and sprinkle sliced almonds over the casserole.

  5. This dish, if any leftovers, taste even better the next day, reheated.
