  1. for Tapioca Wine Soup Recipe

  2. 1/3 cup pearl tapioca

  3. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  4. 1 cup cold water

  5. 3-inch piece of stick cinnamon

  6. 3 cups boiling water

  7. 1 pint claret wine

  8. 1/2 cup powdered sugar

  1. Soak tapioca in cold water for two hours.

  2. Drain and add to boiling water with salt and cinnamon. Let boil for three minutes, then cook in double boiler until tapioca is transparent.

  3. Cool, add wine, and sugar.

  4. Serve very cold.
