  1. 3 -5 cups cubed leftover chicken (or any meat you choose) or 3 -5 cups cubed leftover roast beef (or any meat you choose) or 3 -5 cups cubed leftover hamburger (or any meat you choose) or 3 -5 cups cubed leftover ham (or any meat you choose)

  2. 4 cups mixed vegetables

  3. 2 cups chicken stock or 2 cups beef stock

  4. 1 onion , chopped

  5. 2 cloves garlic , chopped fine mushroom cheese , grated or sliced

  6. 2 stalks celery margarine

  1. In 2 quart saucepan bring to boil the broth/stock with onions and garlic.

  2. Add 1/4 cup margarine-this makes for a much richer broth.

  3. Add cubed meat and vegeatables to boiling broth and reduce heat to low.

  4. Thicken pie mixture with a Cornstarch and water mixture and pour into an oblong 13x12" baking pan lined with half of the pastry.

  5. Sprinkle schredded cheese or layer cheese slices over top of pie mixture and top with remaining pastry dough.

  6. Flute edges of pan and make cris cross slits in pastry with knife and brush with margarine.

  7. Bake in moderate oven at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
