  1. 1 bunch kale, steamed to bright green -if you are looking for an exact measurement, I used

  2. 6 ounces

  3. 1/3 cup toasted almonds

  4. 3 cloves roasted garlic

  5. 1/2 teaspoon celtic sea salt

  6. 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  7. 1 tablespoon olive oil

  8. pinch red pepper flakes

  1. Place kale in food processor and pulse until chopped

  2. Add almonds and garlic, pulse again to incorporate

  3. Pulse in salt, lemon juice, oil and pepper flakes

  4. Continue pulsing until pesto reaches desired consistency (I like mine fairly smooth)

  5. Serve over Sesame Crackers
