  1. 1 recipe homemade gluten-free pizza crust OR use your favorite store bought frozen gluten-free pizza crusts

  2. 1 tablespoon olive oil

  3. 1/2 cup gluten-free pizza sauce (or to taste)

  4. 1 teaspoon dried oregano OR Italian herb blend

  5. 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese

  6. 1 small green pepper, cut in half leaving stem on, seed

  7. 1 small red pepper, cut in half, seed

  8. 2 black olives

  1. Instructions to make one large gluten-free Halloween pizza:

  2. Preheat oven to 450° F / 232° C To make one large gluten-free Halloween pizza, place prepared gluten-free pizza crust on a pizza baking pan. Brush with olive oil. Spoon on pizza sauce and use a large spoon to evenly spread the sauce on the crust. Sprinkle oregano or Italian herbs evenly over sauce. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over sauce.

  3. Cut the red pepper half in half again to make a nose. With a sharp paring knife, cut 2 triangles for the pumpkin eyes and smaller triangles for the pumpkin teeth. Cut the green pepper in half and use half for a pumpkin stem on top of the pizza. Cut whole black olives in circles to use for eyes and cut another olive lengthwise to make eyebrows.

  4. Bake pizza on a pizza pan or large baking sheet in preheated oven for 7 to 8 minutes or until cheese is bubbly golden brown.

  5. Tip - A pizza stone creates crisp crusts by absorbing moisture in dough. If you like your pizzas super crisp consider using a pizza stone to bake pizza.
