  5. 4 oz Chocolate, semi-sweet

  6. 1 T Cream, whipping

  7. 2 T Rum

  8. 1 1/3 c Sugar, icing (sifted)

  9. 3 oz Chocolate vermicelli

  10. -(or less)

  11. Over slow heat, melt the chocolate and stir in cream

  12. and rum. Beat in the icing sugar until mixture is

  13. fairly stiff. Roll into small balls and coat with the

  14. chocolate vermicelli. Place on a cookie sheet and refrigerate for several hours.

  15. NOTES:

  16. Chocolate rum truffles -- My mother makes this

  17. recipe. It is very simple and easy. Yield: makes 16.
