  1. 1/2 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)

  2. 3 tablespoons finely chopped onion

  3. 1/4 cup ketchup

  4. 2 tablespoons tomato juice

  5. 1/4 teaspoon chili powder Dash ground cloves and nutmeg Dash pepper

  6. 2/3 cup canned pumpkin

  7. 2 hamburger buns, split

  1. In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add the ketchup, tomato juice, chili powder, cloves, nutmeg and pepper. Bring to a boil. Stir in pumpkin. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until heated through. Serve on buns. Yield: 2 servings.
