  3. 1 lb bacon; cut into bite-size pieces

  4. 1 large onion; small dice

  6. 8 servings spiral pasta

  7. 1 large cauliflower; cut into small pieces

  8. Fry bacon and drain off fat before it turns crisp. Add a small

  9. amount of olive oil to pan and add chopped onion. Cook onion and bacon quickly until crisp and set aside. Bring salted water to a

  10. boil. Add pasta and cauliflower, boil until both are done. Drain.

  11. Combine bacon and onion mixture with pasta. Add fresh ground pepper

  12. and serve.
