  1. 1 1/2 cups uncooked wild rice

  2. 2 1/4 cups water

  3. 1/2 teaspoon rubbed sage

  4. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  5. 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  6. 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)

  7. 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of celery soup

  8. 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup

  9. 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

  1. Mix all ingredients except parsley in 5- to 6-quart slow cooker.

  2. Cover and cook on low heat setting 8 to 9 hours or until wild rice is tender. Stir in parsley.
