    1. 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

    2. 1 tablespoon curry powder

    3. 1 teaspoon flour

    4. 1/4 cup unsalted chicken or beef broth

    1. Heat the butter in a small saucepan and add the curry powder and flour, stirring over low heat for 1 minute with a wire whisk.

    2. When the mixture is blended and smooth, add the broth, stirring rapidly with the whisk. When the mixture is thickened, remove from the heat. Let cool.
