    7. 1 ts Vanilla

    8. 4 c Powdered Sugar

    9. 4 Eggs

    10. 1 ts Anise

    11. Stir all ingredients except anise together. Let stand about two hours. Mold, take a small scoop and roll out

    12. on pastry cloth with design roller. Then cut into squares and leave on board for a short period of time

    13. so design sets.

    14. Preheat oven to 325. Butter baking sheets, arrange

    15. cookies on sheet and sprinkle with anise seeds. Bake

    16. on middle rack for 15 minutes. --
