  1. 1 lb 454g / 16oz Medium shrimp - shells on

  2. 2 Scallions - chopped

  3. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Fresh ginger root - grated

  4. 1 tablespoon 15ml Soy sauce - light

  5. 1 tablespoon 15ml Dry sherry

  6. 1/2 tablespoon 7 1/2ml Sesame oil

  1. Recipe Instructions Place the shrimp, shells on, in a shallow porcelain bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and toss about. Place the bowl in a hot bamboo steamer and steam about 5 to 7 minutes, until the shrimp are pink and barely firm. Stir the shrimp once during the cooking to make sure they cook evenly. Peel and eat, or eat them, shell and all.
