  1. 1 cup sugar

  2. 1/2 tsp. cream of tarter

  3. 3 Tbsp. water

  4. 1/4 tsp. salt

  5. 2 egg whites

  6. 1 tsp. vanilla

  1. Combine ingredients except vanilla and put into top of double-boiler over boiling water. Beat constantly with beater for four minutes. Take off heat and continue beating for one minute. Add flavoring. Stir in and spread on cake.
