  1. 7-8 medium apples

  2. Water

  3. cup Red hots (cinnamon candy)

  4. 3 tablespoons Sugar

  1. Peel and core the apples and chop into large chunks. Place in a saucepan and cover almost completely with water. Cover the pan.

  2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until the apples are tender, stirring occasionally.
