  1. 1 small carrot -- sliced

  2. 1/2 stalk celery -- sliced

  3. 3 thin onion slices

  4. 2 pieces chicken (2 to 3) -- breasts &/ thighs

  5. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  6. 1 dash pepper

  7. 2 tablespoons water a little basil leaves

  1. Preparation : Place vegetables in bottom of crock-ette. Arrange chicken on top. Add salt and pepper. Pour water over all. Sprinkle with basil leaves, if desired. Cover, cook for 7-10 hours.
