  9. 3/4 c Ginger snap cookie crumbs

  11. 1/2 ts Cinnamon

  12. 1 ds Salt

  13. 1/4 c Butter

  14. 1/4 c Walnuts

  15. 1/3 c Maple flavored syrup

  16. Spread 1/2 the apples in the pastry shell.Combine

  17. 6 ingredients.Spread

  18. 1/2 the mixture over the

  19. apples.Spread in remaining apples atop first layer.Top

  20. with remaining remaining crumbs and walnuts.Bake in a

  21. moderate oven (375 degrees),about 50 minutes,covering

  22. with foil the last 25 minutes.Remove from oven.Pour

  23. syrup,evenly,over the pie. --
