  1. 1 cup 237ml Millet

  2. 4 cups 948ml Water

  3. 2 Onions - wedged

  4. 2 Potatoes - cut into chunks

  5. 2 Carrots - cut into chunks

  6. 1 cup 110g / 3.9oz Chunked celery

  7. 1/2 lb 227g / 8oz Mushrooms - chopped

  8. 2 Bay leaves

  9. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Basil

  10. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Thyme

  1. Toast millet in a dry skillet for about 5 minutes. Stir constantly to avoid burning.

  2. Add all ingredients to a slow cooker and cook for 4 hours on HIGH or 8 hours on LOW.
