  2. 4 cups walnuts (1 pound)

  3. 1 1/2 cups sugar

  4. 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

  5. 3/4 cup water

  6. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  7. 1 teaspoon vanilla

  9. 350 degree

  10. oven. Remove when toasted well. In a very large saucepan add the

  11. sugar, cinnamon, water and salt and cook until it reaches the soft

  12. ball stage (240 degrees). Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and toasted

  13. walnuts. Stir until well coated and mixture looks creamy. Spread

  14. on cookie sheet. Separate as they cool.
