  1. 2 small acorn squash (about 2 pounds)

  2. 3/4 cup pineapple juice

  3. 3/4 cup orange juice

  4. 1 tablespoon melted butter

  5. 1/4 cup golden raisins or currents

  6. 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar

  7. 1 tablespoon cornstarch

  8. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  9. 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

  1. Wash and dry squash well. Pierce squash several times with a fork.

  2. Place squash on two layers of paper towels. Microwave, uncovered, on high 5 to 6 minutes or until slightly tender. Let cool.

  3. Cut ends off squash and discard seeds. Slice into 1-inch thick slices. Arrange squash slices in a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.

  4. Combine remaining ingredients, mixing well. Pour over squash slices.

  5. Bake, uncovered, at 350°F (175°C) for 35 minutes or until squash is tender, basting frequently with glaze.
