  1. 2 cups carrots , sliced

  2. 1 onion , diced

  3. 1/4 cup brown sugar

  4. 2 tbsp margarine , melted, or olive oil

  5. 1/4 tsp cinnamon

  1. Steam the carrots in a small amount of water until tender, about 8 minutes. Drain thoroughly.

  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the carrots, onion, brown sugar, margarine or oil and cinnamon. Simmer, stirring occasionally for 15 minutes.
