  1. 2 tablespoons 30ml Butter

  2. 1/2 cup 31g / 1.1oz Onion - chopped

  3. 3/4 cup 177ml Ketchup

  4. 1/2 cup 118ml Beef stock

  5. 2 tablespoons 30ml Worcestershire sauce

  6. 2 tablespoons 30ml Lemon juice

  7. 2 tablespoons 30ml Red wine vinegar

  8. 1/4 cup 40g / 1.4oz Brown sugar

  9. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Dry mustard

  10. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Black peppercorns - cracked

  11. OR black pepper

  1. In saucepan, cook onion in butter until softened.

  2. Add remaining ingredients; bring to boil.

  3. Reduce heat and simmer 15-20 minutes.

  4. Makes 1 1/2 cups
