  2. 2, 1 pound, packages frozen whole strawberries, thawed

  3. 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

  4. 1 tablespoon cornstarch

  5. 2 teaspoons lemon juice

  1. Drain strawberries well, reserving 3/4 cup liquid.

  2. In saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch.

  3. Mix well.

  4. Stir in reserved liquid.

  5. Bring to a boil, stirring over medium heat.

  6. Boil 1 minute.

  7. Mixture will be thickened and translucent.

  8. Remove from heat.

  9. Let cool slightly.

  10. Add lemon juice.

  11. Let cool completely.

  12. Arrange strawberries, with point up, over cooled cheesecake.

  13. Spoon glaze over strawberries.
