  6. 6 Slices whole wheat bread-

  7. -torn into big cubes

  8. 3 Eggs

  9. 3 Ripe bananas, mashed

  10. 1 ts Ground cinnamon

  11. 2 c Warm water

  12. 14 oz Can sweetened condensed milk

  13. 1/4 c Flaked or shredded coconut

  14. 2 tb Margerine or butter, melted

  15. 2 tb Vanilla extract

  16. 1/2 ts Salt

  17. 1/2 c Chopped pecans

  18. --BUTTER RUM SAUCE--

  19. 1/4 c Butter

  20. 3/4 c Brown sugar, firmly packed

  21. 1/2 c Cream

  22. 2 tb Rum or 1 ts rum flavoring

  23. PUDDING: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place bread

  24. cubes in a greased 9-inch

  25. baking pan. In a large bowl, beat together eggs,

  26. banana and cinnamon. Add remaining ingredients,

  27. except chopped pecans and Butter Rum Sauce. Pour

  28. mixture evenly over bread, moistening completely.

  29. 45 to 50 minutes or until knife comes out clean. Cool. Serve warm with

  30. Butter Rum Sauce. BUTTER RUM SAUCE: In a sauce, melt

  31. butter; add brown sugar and cream. Boil rapidly 8 to

  32. 10 minutes; add rum or rum flavoring. Serve warm.
