  7. 1 1/2 c Butter or margarine, soften

  8. 3 c Sugar

  9. 1 tb Vanilla

  10. 1 t Lemon extract

  11. 1 tb Fresh lemon juice

  12. 1 t Grated lemon rind

  13. 6 Eggs

  14. 3 c All purpose flour

  15. 1 t Baking powder

  16. 1/4 ts Salt

  17. 1/2 c Evaporated milk

  18. 325F. Grease and flour 10-in tube pan.

  19. Beat butter in large mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add sugar 1/3 cup at a time, creaming well

  20. after each addition. Stir in vanilla, lemon extract,

  21. huice and rind. Add eggs, one at a time, blending well

  22. after each addition. Sift together flour, baking

  23. powder and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately

  24. with milk. Stir thoroughly after each addition. Pour

  25. into prepared pan. Bake until wooden pick inserted in

  26. 70-80 minutes. Cool
