  8. 1 1/4 C Long-Grain Brown Rice

  9. 2 1/2 C Water

  10. 1 Tsp Salt

  11. Pinch Saffron Threads

  12. Wash the rice, drain and dry. Put rice into a heavy-bottomed saucepan

  13. with water, salt and saffron. Bring to boil, the cover and turn heat to

  14. low. Cook for 40-45 minutes until rice is tender and water is absorbed.

  15. Remove from heat and leave cover on for 5 minutes. Fluff rice gently with

  16. a fork.
