  2. 12 oz Pkg. pitted prunes; chop

  3. 2/3 c Sugar

  4. 1/3 c Butter; softened

  5. 1 1/3 c Water

  6. 1 ts Vanilla extract

  7. 1 1/2 c Flour

  8. 1/2 c Whole wheat flour

  9. 1 ts Baking soda

  10. 3/4 ts Cinnamon

  11. 1/4 ts Ground cloves

  12. 1 c Walnuts; chopped

  13. 30 min. Transfer the mixture to a lg. bowl. Preheat oven to

  14. 350. In a med. bowl, combine the flours, baking soda, cinnamon, and cloves. Stir the lfour mixture into the cooled prune mixture. Add the walnuts, mixing the ingred. until they are well combined. Transfer the batter to a greased and floured

  15. 9x5 loafpan. Place the pan in the hot oven,and bake the bread for 1 hr.
